Community Reporters for Age Concern Rotherham

Community Reporters Gemma, Lee, Leanne, Tonio, Laura and Samantha are volunteering full-time for Age Concern Rotherham. They will be putting together video reports about subjects relevant to our client group (the over 50s in Rotherham).  If you have any suggestions of subjects for them to report on them please contact them via Claudia the Volunteer Coordinator on 01709 386831. They have completed a video report on the LoveIT event held at the High Street Centre, Rawmarsh 16th-20th August and are currently working on reports about 1. Anti-Social behaviour and 2. Activities offered in care homes around Rotherham to stimulate the residents physical and mental health.

LoveIT video compiled by the Community Reporters

We are volunteer community reporters and we compiled a video report about the LoveIT project. It was held at the High Street Centre in Rawmarsh 16-20th August. LoveIT is a computer training project aimed at teaching the basics of computers, internet and emailing to the over 50s.

As community reporters we interviewed both participants and volunteers who attended the event. It was a very good turn out and everyone enjoyed it.
